Living Development Concepts (LDC) has completed a Nonprofit Capacity Building application to participate in this newly created program by The Barnes Fund. We hope to gain through our participation in this program training, information to benefit our organization and strengthen our capacity, as well as, opportunities to collaborate with other housing organizations to better address the housing issues while serving the communities.
In partnership with the Center for Nonprofit Management and the National Development Council, The Barnes Fund has created this capacity building program designed to strengthen the management capacity of local nonprofit developers, with a focus on affordable housing finance and development. This program will include organizational assessment, tailored technical assistance from local consultants, a cohort-based training that explores the development process, financial analysis techniques, and structuring needed to successfully develop and finance affordable home ownership and rental housing development.
